Oral Surgery

While our goal is to help you maintain your natural teeth, sometimes the decay, infection, or fractures has spread to the point where a tooth is no longer restorable. Drs. Phan and Huynh have taken many hours of CE and are up to date on the newest techniques, and employ some of the most advanced instruments to make your extraction quick and more comfortable.

Modern techniques in grafting bone in the socket where a tooth once was has helped patients preserve the jaw bone. A membrane may be placed over the graft to help the bone and gums grow simultaneously. This allows us to place an implant to restore your ability to eat and smile. If a tooth has been missing for some time, the bone in the area will be gradually lost with respect to time. Other techniques may be used to help grow new bone.
